Inside a lesson
What a recorded course really is
Short video lessons you stream, PDFs you keep, and practice you do with your own hands. No live tutor, nobody marking. Below: one lesson drawn out, the road from payment to first lesson, and a frank list of what you do not get.

1
The video
HD, streamed. Pause, rewind and watch again as often as you like for 12 months. In this course each module runs from 24 to 62 minutes.
-
2
The chapters
The course is split into modules in the order you would learn them. This one has 9, about 6.8 hours of video in all.
-
3
The PDFs
Kit lists, charts and consultation forms to download. They are yours to keep, even after streaming access ends.
-
4
Practice and checkpoint
Practical modules send you away from the screen to work on a mannequin or a model. The checkpoint is yours to tick; nobody marks it.
From payment to first lesson
Six steps, one short wait
There is no start date and no cohort. The only wait is for your login, and that arrives within one working day.
-
Step 1
Paid
Pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through our payment service provider. Your order page shows where things stand.
-
Step 2
Your login arrives
We email your login within one working day. If nothing is there, check spam, then write to us.
-
Step 3
Open the first module
Log in, open module 1 and press play. Your 12 months of streaming run from the day access is sent.
-
Step 4
Practise with your hands
Work on a mannequin or a willing model with the kit list beside you. Pause and repeat as often as you need.
-
Step 5
Reach the checkpoint
Tick the checkpoint when you can do what the module says. It is your own check; nobody marks your work.
-
Step 6
Certificate of completion
Finish the modules and you receive a certificate of completion from Dalby Online. It is not a regulated qualification.
Frankly
What you get, and what you don’t
Read the right-hand column before you buy. It is the one that decides whether a recorded course is right for you.

Yes You get
- HD video lessons, streamed to a laptop, tablet or phone.
- PDFs you keep: kit lists, charts and consultation forms to download. They stay yours after streaming ends.
- 12 months of streaming, counted from the day we send your access.
- A certificate of completion from Dalby Online when you have finished the course.
- Answers about the content. Send questions to the team by chat or email; we reply in working hours.
- Safe practice built in: patch tests, consultation, contraindications and aftercare are taught inside every treatment course. How we teach it.
No You don’t get
- A regulated qualification. The certificate shows you completed the course; it is not an Ofqual or RQF qualification. Many insurers ask for a recognised qualification or a hands-on assessment, so ask yours before you buy. Ask us about insurance.
- A live tutor. There are no live classes. Every lesson is recorded.
- Marking. Nobody checks your practice work. You judge it against the lesson and the checkpoint.
- In-person days. It is all online, at your own pace.
- Kit in the box. Each course page lists the kit up front, so you can price it before you pay.
- Streaming for ever. Streaming ends 12 months after access is sent. The PDFs stay yours.

Devices and internet
What you need at home
Nothing special. A screen, a connection and somewhere to practise.
- A laptop, tablet or phone
- Use a current browser. A bigger screen helps when you are watching hands and tools.
- A steady connection
- The lessons stream, so you need to be online to watch. The PDFs you download once and keep.
- Space to practise
- A table, a mirror and good light beside the screen. Each course page lists its kit before you pay.
- Paper or screen
- Print the kit list and charts, or keep them on a second screen. The files are yours either way.
